A 48 mm tube on a screw-on back plate, mounted by the front door or just inside the porch so a wet umbrella has somewhere to go other than propped in a corner leaving a puddle. The bore swallows a compact folded umbrella easily and a standard stick umbrella snugly, fabric and all, and the tube is open at the bottom so the water that runs off drains straight out instead of sitting in the bottom and going stale. Four screws on a wide pattern rather than two close together is what stops it tilting once something heavy is hanging in it.
Four M5 screws into wall plugs. It drips by design — mount it over a mat or outside the door rather than on carpet.
